Vernikov and Partners Group has completed another stage of business process optimization for the largest Russian telecommunication company OAO Rostelecom.

OAO Rostelecom and Vernikov and Partners Group have been actively cooperating in business process description and optimization since 2003.

During the stage completed in February 2005, Vernikov and Partners Group specialists developed a draft model of business process construction for the future communication service payment system of OAO Rostelecom.

According to Vadim Izotov, Deputy General Director of OAO Rostelecom in Information Technologies, the new payment system model will allow OAO Rostelecom to start carefully planned implementation of a new billing system project.

“Carefully planned implementation, explains Izotov, means the ability of transition to the new billing system without serious organizational problems. This is possible due to the model of payment system business processes developed by analysts from Vernikov and Partners Group. The created model is the foundation in the process of working out the requirements for the automated payment system and developing a set of regulatory documents for implementation of the project of transition to the new billing system.
